Queen Street

Queen Street

Queen Street runs east-west across Toronto, morphing from wacky retro to classy shops and restaurants to antique shopping to the far east end’s Beaches neighbourhood.
Queen Street West (University Avenue to Spadina Avenue) is particularly well-known for enticing shoppers: edgy, hip, and trendy all define this Toronto neighbourhood, which also houses some of the city’s most well-known clubs and cafes.
In fact, the Queen Street West district has grown in popularity to the point where the genuinely bohemian have gone even further west, to what is now known as West Queen West (between Bathurst Street and Niagara Street).
